Method 1: Daily Coach (Easy and Enjoy Journey)
Route : From Kuala Lumpur to Kuala Tembeling - by coach
From Kuala Tembeling to Kuala Tahan - by boat

We recommend this method if you want to have easy and enjoy journey.  You just need to follow 3 simple steps as the following:-

Step 1: Get Daily Coach from Kuala Lumpur to Kuala Tahan

There are three operators offer their services on daily basis from different departure points in Kuala Lumpur.  Please refer the time table below for more details. You can contact the operator or contact us for the seat booking. Estimated travelling time between 3 – 3 ½ hrs.

Step 2 : Get a Boat from Kuala Tembeling Jetty to Kuala Tahan

Your estimated arrival time at Kuala Tembeling Jetty is at 11:30am. And now you are ready to enter Taman Negara. You need to buy Entry Permit and Camera License registration at Wildlife Department counter. Then buy boat ticket from authorized operator. The boats depart from Kuala Tembeling to Kuala Tahan at 2:00pm daily.

While waiting for your boarding, you can have your lunch at local restaurant and café. You may also need to go to the rest room prior to your 2 ½ - 3 hours boat ride (There is no toilet facilities on board). Enjoy the most scenic river view on your journey.

Step 3: Arrival in Taman Negara and Check in

There are 4 arrival points in Taman Negara. Your landing point depends on the boat operator. Please see the time table below. If you come with our package, our people will be at there to greet and show you to your accommodation. If you are not, you can walk straight to your pre booked accommodation.

You may ask local people about the direction if you are too sure about it. Be patient if you encounter any local people who can’t understand or speak English or any other international language. They are friendly and happy to help and they will show you the direction.

At the arrival point of Taman Negara, it is all on self service basis. There is no porter service to take care of your belonging. Therefore, please take proper luggage or backpack. Get off the boat and walk up through steep road to your accommodation.
